Karlie Turns 8!

Karlie turned 8 today. After a long day of school we came home to find a package for her in the mail. She was so excited to find it was a special package from Grammy, Gramps, Sassy, Bailey, Lady and Peanut. It was hard for her to contain her excitment when she opened her gifts and found High School Musical items!

After Brownie Scouts and dinner, Karlie finished her day off with a little snuggle time with Build-a-Bear's Hannah Montana Bear. Obviously somebody is also big into Hannah Montana!

Ice Skating

Karlie is about 4 weeks into her ice skating lessons. I am very proud of the progess she has made. Sometime between the first lession and now Karlie moved up from Level 1 to Level 2. I think it happened sometime between the two lessons I missed due to travel to Seattle and my Christmas Workshop last weekend. I'm hoping the above video works as this is my first time posting a video.

End of Cheer Season

Today was the official end of Karlie's 2008 cheer season. The season always ends with an awards ceremony. Karlie and the rest of the Cowboys cheerleaders performed a dance routine that they worked hard on over the last few weeks. While it's so much fun watching her cheer at the football games, I won't miss the rain.
